FOOTBALL CAMP AT SIDCOT SCHOOL, BRISTOL
British Camp offers Football Summer Camp for Players Aged 8–17 near Bristol
Football is more than a game, it is a Language
Football is more than a game. It is a language — one that brings young people together from every corner of the world and gives them a reason to push harder, think faster and never give up.
Academic Summer's Football Camp launched in 2025 in partnership with British Camp. Running in July and August at Sidcot School in the beautiful British countryside near Bristol, this is a football summer camp like no other — where the football pitch is just the beginning.
Whether you are just starting out or serious about taking your game to the next level, this camp is for you.
A Partnership Built on the Right Values
Academic Summer and British Camp share the same belief that sport and education are most powerful when they work together.
As Academic Summer CEO Helen Lami says: "What I really admire about Vitalii and British Camp is that, even though they have faced huge challenges, they have looked for opportunities. That is what entrepreneurs do in difficult times, they adapt and come out stronger. We are proud to have them with us at Sidcot with us."
A warm welcome, a beautiful British countryside setting , football, friendship and learning for life.
The UK — The Home of Football
The UK is the birthplace of football. There is nowhere better in the world to develop your game.
At Sidcot School in the heart of the British countryside, our Football Camp has everything a serious young player needs. Grass pitches, astro and 3G surfaces, world-class coaching and 160 acres of beautiful English countryside to train, grow and thrive in the sport you love.
Football in England, there really is nothing quite like it.
This is Not Just Football Training
Our FA and UEFA qualified coaches develop far more than technique. Every session is designed to build the qualities that separate good players from great ones on the pitch and off it.
Mental resilience — the ability to keep going when it gets hard, stay focused under pressure and bounce back from setbacks. Every great player needs it and we build it.
Emotional intelligence — understanding yourself, reading your teammates and communicating under pressure. The best players in the world are not just technically gifted, they are emotionally intelligent.
Teamwork and leadership — football is the ultimate team sport. Through small group coaching, match situations and team challenges, you will learn what it means to lead, to follow and to bring out the best in the people around you.

Technical skill — two 90-minute coaching sessions every day led by qualified FA and UEFA coaches, focusing on technique, tactical awareness, fitness and match confidence. Exciting drills, friendly matches and competitions will push you to improve.
Every week ends with a football tournament — the moment to show what you have learned and compete with everything you have got.
Football and Learning — The Perfect Balance
This is Academic Summer so this is more than a sports camp, football is only part of the story.
Alongside daily coaching sessions, students join their age group for learning — Adventurers (age 8-10), Pathfinders (age 11-12), Explorers (age 13-14) or Engagers (age 15-17). Through English and subject lessons we develop communication skills, critical thinking and life skills alongside football. Every lesson uses the same hands-on, interactive approach that Academic Summer is known for, bringing subjects to life in a way that feels just as exciting as sport.
Vitalii Bresler, co-founder of British Camp, calls it "edutainment" — and that says it perfectly. The goal is not to transform a student's English in two weeks. It is to inspire them, give them a reason to speak, help them make friends from around the world and keep them learning long after the camp ends.
Brains and football boots — What a combination!
Life at Football Camp
Training takes place Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with two 90-minute coaching sessions every day. Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays are for day trips giving players the chance to explore the real England alongside their teammates from across the world.
Evenings on campus bring campfires, talent shows, sports tournaments, karaoke and movie nights under the stars. The friendships you make at Football Camp are the kind that last long after the summer ends.
Every residential boarding student is supervised 24-hours a day by experienced and caring staff. This is a safe, warm and well-run camp where parents can relax and players can focus entirely on the game they love.
