Forty hours of specialist learning over two weeks, delivered in London Westminster. Every session is practical, purposeful and built around the skills that universities, employers and the world actually need from the next generation. You will have four lessons a day, time for project work and workshops.

Academic Skills for the Future: You will develop your academic English using real subject content, not just grammar exercises. You will learn how to write compelling essays, design and complete an independent project, take effective notes, build advanced vocabulary, communicate with the clarity and present your ideas with confidence.
Critical and Creative Thinking: In a world where AI can find the answer, the students who stand out are the ones who can ask the right questions. Through problem-solving challenges, creative sessions and the exploration of global issues, you will develop the higher-order thinking skills that every ambitious student needs. You will learn to think with independence.

AI and Technology for Learning This is one of the most important parts of any academic programme for students today. You will get hands-on experience with AI tools for writing, research and creativity, take part in masterclasses on the ethical and effective use of AI, and complete practical tasks that integrate technology. The goal is not to use AI instead of thinking but it is to use it to think better and work smarter.

Core Lessons
Two of your lessons a day will be based around the following:
Innovation, Data and Design
Learn to spot real problems and opportunities, then use design thinking to develop and test your own ideas. You'll work with surveys and real-world data, learn to question what a statistic is really telling you, and present your findings through business-style proposals.
Global Perspectives
Explore globalisation, demographic change and the future of work through the lens of media, ethics and different cultural viewpoints. Practical tasks in evaluating information and spotting bias is what every global citizen needs to be able to do.
Choose your Stream
You will choose what stream you want to focus on for two of your lessons a day
Entrepreneurship
Take an idea from the initial vision to the final pitch — build a brand, test a business model and use real maths to price, forecast and prove it works. You'll finish with an investor-style presentation, and will be ready to present with confidence.
Digital and Tech
Get hands-on with AI, coding and digital design, building and testing your own tech projects along the way. It's for students who want to understand not just how technology works, but how to shape it's future.
Sustainability
Dig into the big questions that affect our planet's future — energy transition, sustainable cities, fast fashion and climate economics — comparing how different countries are tackling them. It is a mix of geography, economics and environmental science, grounded in real data and real case studies.
Independent Project and Final Showcase
Every Future Gen student completes an independent project — researching a topic that interests them, developing their ideas and presenting their findings to a panel of experts. This is your chance to bring everything together, demonstrate what you have learned and leave with something tangible to show universities and future employers.
