Academic Summer and Academic Camp have operated summer camps during the summers of 2020 and 2021 in the UK and Europe. We, therefore, have experience in running our camps during COVID times. We hope this will give you the confidence to book your summer camp with us.  

However, we want to give you some extra peace of mind: 

We are now taking bookings for 2022 with an option to book risk-free.  

In order to help families to make decisions about next summer and book with confidence, we are introducing interim terms and conditions for any new bookings made between 1st  December 2021 and 28th February 2022.   
   
1) Book now and pay your initial payment of 1000 CHF for your summer camp by 31st March 2022. The balance of fees is due 5 weeks before the course starts. 

or 
2) Book now and make your initial payment of 1000 CHF on booking and we will give you 2021 fees.  This applies to bookings made before 31st January 2022.  

Insurance 

Our fees include comprehensive travel insurance.  If any student were to contract coronavirus, like any other illness, whilst travelling they will be covered by our insurance policy enabling them to claim healthcare and associated costs.   Also if a student needs to cancel due having COVID than this is covered. 

The only area not insured is if the Government in your country or Switzerland apply travel restrictions which makes travel impossible. In this case Academic Summer will refund any money paid less an admin fee of 100 CHF or give you a voucher for 2023 for the full amount.  

If Academic Summer is able to adapt their camps in order to operate then no refund will be issued and normal terms and conditions apply. In the summer of 2021 we ran our camps with the required quarantine and incorporated this successfully in our camps.

For up to date Government travel advice please see this link.  We monitor this advice and adapt our camps as necessary to comply to the requirements in regards to testing and quarantine.    

You are responsible for tests required prior to travel and any Fit to Fly test that is needed for your return home.
