About us

Academic Camp Holidays comes to the rescue to give students an alternative to spending their breaks with a host family. Academic Camp Holidays offers the perfect combination of rest, revision, workshops, sports and trips during the holidays.

Whether you are already at school in the UK and want a relaxing camp to provide holiday care or if you want to travel to the UK for an exciting camp experience to learn new skills and improve your English, Academic Camp Holidays has it covered.

Students can join us at Queen's College, Taunton for half terms and holidays in October/November, February or MayDay camps and full boarding options available.

Monday -Thursday:  In the morning take some free time or participate in debating, business or CPD-accredited Be a Leader workshops,  then, in the afternoon,  choose whether to join the Adventure, Maths, Drama and Music or Sports camp.

Our workshops and camps are designed to improve your verbal and nonverbal communication skills, presentation skills, critical and strategic thinking, organisation, time management, and flexibility. You'll leave the camp with a better understanding of how to focus, organise your time, set goals, strengthen friendships, and build team spirit.
Moreover, you're going to develop soft skills such as empathy, respect, positivity, and integrity, as well as a deeper understanding of your own personality  in terms of learning styles, emotional intelligence, traits, and values. Spend the holiday with us and strengthen your life skills and grow in confidence.

Friday-Sunday:  Our three-day weekends will take you on excursions to places like London, Bath, and Plymouth. There’s also planned  downtime with fun optional activities like high ropes and meals out.

Academic Camp Holidays is delivered in collaboration with Queen's College, Taunton's holiday club, so there will be plenty of locals at the camp with whom  to practise English and make new friends.

Return to school feeling energised, prepared and ready to start the new term.
