We are thrilled to be running Academic Summer Camp for a second year at Rothesay Netherwood School from July 17th to August 28th, 2022. We’ll be welcoming students aged 12-17 from all over the world to your wonderful school, and we’d love you to join us.

Academic Camp Canada is for you...

... if you are aged 12-17 and you love to learn and discover. Join an inspiring academic summer camp in a global community with other learners from Canada and all over the world. Enjoy the excellent mix of learning and discovery combined with outdoor activities and trips either as an overnight or a day student. Based on the world-class campus of Rothesay Netherwood School in New Brunswick, we boast excellent facilities with supportive, experienced and friendly staff.

Academics - challenging, inspiring & discovery

The programme is designed to help students prepare for their IB Diploma, Advanced Placement options, or future university study. This  course combines practical and inspiring academic learning with great trips and outdoor activities designed to encourage students to try new things, develop their leadership skills and become more confident. We offer a wide range of subject choices taught in English, including:

Specialist Medical studies

If you are aged 15+ you can join specialist courses Get Ready for Medicine:
  • Get Ready for Medicine is an interactive, innovative, and immersive program that will teach you about the anatomy, physiology and pathology of organ systems, antibiotic resistance, ethics, and the law. In addition to classroom learning, we will visit medical institutions such as hospitals, GPs and research facilities, and finish with a First aid course leading to a qualification.

Leisure programme - teamwork, leadership and confidence

The leisure programme includes cultural visits to St John, Halifax, whale watching, sea kayaking, museum visits. We'll make use of our unique location, offering a wide range of sports, including soccer, tennis, swimming and kayaking.
